Okay. You written a novel. You've hopefully rewritten it (at least once). Your critical readership of inner critics are very positive so now you want to publish. What do you do now?

I can't pretend to have the answers, but as this is exactly where I find myself in terms of my first novel, I'll try and share the sources of information that have shaped my decision.
